Mytonomy’s rigorous content creation process ensures high-quality, peer-reviewed information that is created with a focus on enhancing viewer engagement, comprehension, and retention, and comes from a trusted source. Each step of our process is informed by members of our National Clinical Advisory Network who play a vital role in developing content that is reliable, up-to-date, and answers patients' most frequently asked questions.

Our National Clinical Advisory Network includes licensed physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health providers, nurses, pharmacologists, and therapists in active clinical practice. They each bring expertise in the patient care continuum. Members of this Advisory Network include thought leaders from major academic institutions, researchers, and authors published in peer-reviewed journals.

  • Our members are Subject Matter Experts in major therapeutic areas who ensure that our 2,500+ microlearning videos are current, accurate and relevant.
  • Mytonomy’s content creation follows a proprietary five-step process that involves both internal review with our clinical leadership team as well as external review with at least two clinical experts from our Advisory Network guiding each step.
  • Evidence-based sources are utilized and referenced, from initial research and module outline to scripting and final review.
  • Our Advisory Network not only engages in content creation but continues to monitor and inform guidance changes over time so that each patient education video remains current over months and years.
  • All of our microlearning videos have undergone rigorous clinical review before they are made available to providers and patients.

Beyond Accuracy: Engaging the Patient

Off-the-shelf Clinically Accurate Content That Matches Your Care

Clinicians want to supply their patients with accurate, condition-specific information, so they are not left to search the internet and potentially find wrong or confusing advice. Mytonomy brings the optimal balance of validated, off-the-shelf clinical content with customization to ensure your specific guidelines are reflected (e.g., follow up with your provider in one week or follow up in two weeks).

Our content is clinically validated from multiple sources, tapping the expertise of our clinical advisors. It’s trusted so you can confidently prescribe this content to your patients. In our industry conversations with former customers of legacy clinical content providers, health systems often faced resistance from their own providers to deploying content that was labeled “accurate," but in their eyes did not reflect how care is delivered. Our content is accepted “as-is” with less than 7% of content being customized at the system level, but this level of customization we uniquely deliver is key in helping  engage clinicians who initially may be skeptical.

Mytonomy’s in-house studio is an award-winning end-to-end production house for custom video learning modules. Using the principles of microlearning, we craft custom, video-based content that showcases a client’s unique services. We provide patients with necessary care instructions, use multiple modalities including animation to match different learning styles,  and help the client better manage their patient population.

Mytonomy’s Cloud for Healthcare delivers video-based patient education and engagement with integrated communications for our clients, which include some of the country’s largest health systems. We are growing rapidly and were recently named #396 on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies in the US. Mytonomy is a film studio and enterprise software company delivering deeper patient engagement that is tailored and adaptive.
