Stream Video Education for Discharge on Epic's MyChart Bedside

Mytonomy videos can play on your interactive TV platforms via our API library.

Mytonomy streams our full patient-education video library directly inside Epic’s MyChart Bedside app, giving patients simple, on-demand access to tailored videos while they’re admitted. Whether content is assigned by clinicians or surfaced as a bedside menu option, patients can watch single modules or explore the library from the same MyChart Bedside experience used by care teams.

We also integrate seamlessly with leading in-room IPTV vendors like Oneview, Sonifi, and pCare, so the same tailored Mytonomy patient engagement experience is available on bedside TVs and tablets. For vendors such as Oneview, we support API-based library synchronization enabling live playlists, playlists-to-channels, and near-real-time updates to what patients see at the bedside.

For vendors/systems that can use a modern API, we use API integration. This ensures that patients have a consistent view of their assigned education throughout their healthcare journey - whether as an inpatient or ambulatory patient. For older TV platforms that do not support APIs, we can provide packaged video files, SFTP/batch loads, or server uploads and coordinate a content-migration plan and testing to stand up channels on your interactive TV vendor’s servers.

The end goal: a better discharge process. Mytonomy’s patient education makes it easier for patients to find, navigate, and complete their education as they prepare for discharge. When combined with real-time analytics and personalization, our customers can measure minutes streamed, completion rates, and campaign impact across both Epic's MyChart Bedside tablets and in-room TV channels.
