Dear Health System Partners,
We have been monitoring the rapidly developing and emerging Coronavirus (COVID -19) situation, and I know you're hard at work preparing your organizations to respond to this evolving threat. I wanted to reach out on behalf of the entire Mytonomy Team, and offer any help that we can, to you and your teams to communicate with and disseminate information to your patients, staff and communities.
Our Response:
We have opened up Mytonomy studio and production team time, to support your messaging and communication needs as they may emerge.
Starting with the following three microlearning videos, to be released on Monday March 9th, you may use them in the Mytonomy Patient Experience Cloud, on your website, in your apps, basically anywhere you deem appropriate, free of charge. These videos are based on the latest guidance from CDC and WHO:
- Video #1: Coronavirus - What is it and How to Stay Safe?
This 3 min video provides an overview of the Coronavirus, plus specific "Do's and Don'ts" to protect themselves and others from infection.
- Video #2: Coronavirus - Symptoms and Getting Checked
This 2 min video looks symptoms of Coronavirus, including a mention of how they overlap with more common illnesses, plus an explanation of what people should do if they think they are infected and what the testing process involves
- Video #3 Talking to Children About Coronavirus
This 2 min video explains how to talk to children about the Coronavirus, including questions from real kids that our ER Doc answers in a reassuring way.
Additional ways we can support you are noted below, and please don't hesitate to let us know if there are other ways not listed where we can be helpful.

Mytonomy Studio Available for COVID-19 Microlearning Education
- These three videos have been filmed featuring our Staff Emergency Med Doctor, and can be easily replaced with any spokesperson from your organization.
- The background can be changed to reflect your lobby or any scene you can provide us to give comfort to your patients that you are communicating with them digitally, remotely each step of the way.
- We can rapidly produce (24-48 hours) any staff training or messaging you want to push to your staff to help them remain calm and focused. Or to push to patients.
- You can use the patient experience cloud to educate your staff, and ensure all of your staff are watching the content you want them to see - the content can be loaded from CDC or your State Health Department or anywhere you want to pull from. Converting your patient education center to a staff training center can be accomplished in 2-3 days and is included in your contract already. You can also deliver your own educational content on COVID -19 through the Mytonomy platform rapidly. This has the benefit of giving you real time reports on whether your staff watched or not.
