Jean Connelly is an award-winning television and video producer. An outstanding storyteller, writer, and copy editor, she has more than two and a half decades of experience in every realm of production, including series management, field production, directing, and post- production. She has worked as the Series Producer and/or Writer and Post Producer for numerous series and specials on HGTV and the DIY Network, including the recent HGTV Dream Home 2020, which received 144 million online entries. In addition to producing microlearning health education videos at Mytonomy, her other recent work in educational video includes Telly Award winning parenting videos. Jean began her career in Washington, DC newsrooms. At WTTG, she rose from production assistant to newscast producer, helping the Fox 5 Morning News see a substantial ratings increase under tenure. She attended American University in Washington, DC, and holds a degree in Foreign Language and Communication Media, with a concentration in Spanish and Broadcast Journalism. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with University Honors.
