Dr. Herlene Chatha | Medical Director
Dr. Herlene Chatha is a pediatrician specializing in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. After graduating from Duke University with a BS in Biology, she attended the University of Maryland Medical School. She completed her Pediatric Residency in 2001 at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC where she then joined the Department of Emergency Medicine as an Attending Physician.
During her time there she was instrumental in the development of a Rapid Intake Fast Track Unit responsible for the evaluation and treatment of thousands of patients each year. Since 2009 she has been an Attending Physician in the Departments of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. In 2015, Dr. Chatha joined PM Pediatrics, the nation’s largest provider of pediatric urgent care and served as an Assistant Medical Director until joining the Mytonomy team.
Dr. Herlene Chatha has a special interest in staff development as well as patient and family education with an emphasis on ensuring understanding of disease processes and prevention. Dr. Chatha lives in Kensington, MD with her husband, two children and dogs. She enjoys traveling with her family, learning to play the piano and working towards her next belt in Muay Thai.
